Ledbury Chase 2007

Ledbury and District Harriers are gearing up for this year's Chase. The 13 mile course has been slightly modified to include even more off road. However the course will still remain a varied and interesting route over mixed terrain. If the day is hot as in previous years, the climb up to Marcle Ridge will prove challenging for even the toughest competitors.

This years Ledbury Chase will take place on Sunday 23^rd September, at 10:30 am. Start and finish is at Ledbury Rugby Football Club. This is a splendid venue, with plenty of parking space, showers, changing rooms and of course the bar will be open!

Race and Entry Details:

• Undulating course starting and finishing at Ledbury Rugby Club, Ross Road, Ledbury.
• Ample parking, changing rooms and toilet facilities.
• Hot and cold drinks and snacks also available.
• Race Limit 250.
• Closing date for postal entries 17th September or when race limit is reached.
• Entries on the day.
• Race Fee: Affiliated £7.00 plus extra £1.00 on the day Unaffiliated £9.00 plus extra £1.00 on the day

There will be Souvenirs for all finishers in the 7th Ledbury Chase. Local Company teams consisting of three members can compete for the Ledbury Chase Challenge Shield.

Team Prize for the first Men and Womens club team home. Four UKA club members will be required to make up a team.

The race organisers have made an application to the Midland Counties Athletics Association for a race permit. A Risk Assessment of the course will also be available and a First Aid organisation will also be present on the site.
