The Thursday night sessions start this week. We will meet at the corner of Prince Rupert Road (the 2nd turning on the right as you come up from Homebase) and New Mills Road.
6:15pm to warm up -ready to start at 6:30pm.
This week’s session will be intervals. 5 mins run with 2 minutes recovery (4 times)
The sessions are designed to help you increase your speed and endurance and to provide some variety to your running. You don’t have to be fast to take part. Everyone is welcome.
Each interval should be run at a pace slightly faster than your usual pace . You should feel that you are putting an effort in but not so fast that you can’t repeat it after your 2 minute recovery. You are aiming to get back to the same place at the end of each set.
If you haven’t done anything like this before, come and give it a go. It can really make a difference to your running.
