Couch to 5k

We have a lovely small group of highly motivated couch to 5k runners this Autumn. A great session last night!

For homework: have a go at 1 min 30 secs run followed by 1 min walk for a total of 30 mins. No worries if you find the run a bit tough on your own…just take a break.¬†

Tip for the week was ‘arms’…

Your arms should be bent at a 90-degree angle. Try to swing them forward and back, not across your body. The arm movement helps to propel you forward, so swinging them sideways is a waste of energy.
