Couch to 5k – Summer course

Great to meet you all last night – fantastic first session!

Your homework is to go out once or twice and repeat session 1 (if you find this hard on your own do less) Best not to run on consecutive days. Brisk walk or have a go at some of those dynamic exercises if you can for 2 – 3 mins then run for 1 minute walk for 1 minute for a total of 20 mins. Tip of the week: Breathe deeply and rhythmically

Whether you breathe through your nose or mouth, try to breathe deeply and rhythmically. Avoid shallow and quick breaths. Try to aim for one breath for every two strides, but don’t be afraid to try longer breathing
