This week we start on our marathon/half marathon training programme. Even if you aren’t planning to race these distances the programme will help with your pace, stamina and speed up your metabolism to help get rid of any extra ‘Christmas’ calories. Once the session is completed we all feel great with those endorphins kicking in!
If it’s your first time don’t be nervous the runners are all supportive and we have all been ‘new’ – there is a great camaradie at fun & fast.
Session this week is 90 seconds hard, with 90 secs slow, 8 times. With a good warm up jog and cool down jog the programme suggests you will cover around 5 miles. Email or text if you want further information. (07468 793405 Sally)
