A day early – just to keep you on your toes!  Hope you all had good runs on Tuesday night.  I think you all managed to dodge the showers.

Tuesday Night Runs

Gentle Joggers will be running from Bosbury Church this week at 6:45pm

Meeting time is still 6:45 and the venues are shown on the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet has been updated.  You still need to add your name to the list for Track and Trace purposes  and if you are unable to run, please remove your name as usual so that the group knows not to expect you.

Thursday Night Sessions

It has rained for the last 2 Thursdays so it’s good that people are still turning up for them.  Everyone is welcome.  The format of the sessions to date has been:-

  • Warm-up – a variety of exercises to get those muscles ready for some work
  • Several short targeted sessions – for example short interval repeats, parlauf, team relays
  • Cool-down  – stretches and a gentle jog to allow your heart rate to come back to normal.

As we go through the weeks and as restrictions and weather allow, we will do other things such as hills and  cross country techniques.  Want to find out more?  Come along to a session and see how you like it?

4th July  – Leominster Triathlon

17th July – The Scrumpy Scurry – 5K run 3 laps with a cider on each lap!  To be held at Mortimers Orchard

12th September – Wye Valley Tunnel run

18th September – Dymock Half Marathon and 10K

19th September – Run Hereford 2021 in aid of St Michael’s Hospice

21st November – Newent Nine
