Newsletter 25th November

Hello Harriers,

Well done to our Couch to 5k runners, you were fantastic at Newent Parkrun.  It is a really tough course and all of you did brilliantly.

This week we are running from the Market House.  It is a head torch run, so will be off road.  Gary is going to lead a group to run around 3 miles aimed at the Couch to 5k graduates.   We are meeting at 6:30ish to run at 6:45.

Gentle Joggers:  Mark

Easy Runners: Sally

Runners: Nick

As the nights are now getting darker, it is important that we start using our hi-viz and if you have one a head torch.

Food Bank

Helen K came up with a fantastic idea that on the night of our run on Tuesday 11th December we could all bring some non-perishable food that would be donated to the food bank.

Ragnor White Cliffs

Kate Elkington is getting a team together to run this event.  170 miles over 24 hours.  It will be held over the weekend of September 21 – 22nd.  Anyone interested please speak to Katy.

Christmas Dooo

Sally has named and shamed the people who haven’t paid.  Please make sure that you pay for your Christmas Do 🙂

I am putting together the league races for next year and wondered if you had any suggestions.  One of the races will be the Muddy Woody, entries for this sell out very quickly and entries open 1st December.
