Newsletter – 2nd May 2021

Hi there

Hope you are enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend.

First of all, congratulations to Kate Elkington who has passed her England Athletics Coach in Running Fitness.  I’m sure we will all benefit from her help and knowledge in the coming months.

Jayne Cresswell and Sally Rooke have also been doing their Leader in Running Fitness Course  which is great and means that we now have more qualified Lead Runners.

Thursday Night Sessions

We had some good feedback from the participants who road-tested our training session last Thursday. It was found to be useful and enjoyable.  If anyone else, from any of the groups, would like to come and join us this Thursday, 6:30pm at the Rugby Club, please let me know

Wyedean Relay – August 14th 2021

Wyedean Relay   This takes place on 14th August and is a 10 stage race starting and finishing in Chepstow.  A team took part in the 2019 one and had a lot of fun doing it – both before the race – checking out the routes – and during.  Kate Elkington would love to get a team or two together to do it.  If you are interested, then please email Kate  for more information.

Think that’s all for now.

Have a good week.
