Newsletter – 13th December 2020

Vacancy on Committee

We are looking for a person to take on the role of Secretary for the club from January.  If you are interested, please let me know and I can tell you a bit about the role and what is involved.

We are also looking for someone to help with the website – if you have the skills needed and would like to help out, please let me know.

The AGM will be held this year on Thursday 7th January 2021.  It will be a virtual meeting via Zoom.  Everyone is welcome to join in and have their say.  If you would like to  attend, please send me an email to info@ledburyharriers.org.uk and when I have set up the meeting, I will send you an invite.  Please put ‘AGM’ in the title of the email so I can spot it.  Thanks!

Food Bank Collection

Over the past couple of years, we have done a collection for Ledbury Food Bank  on the last-but-one run in December.  I would like to have a collection again this year. I will be in the car park at Homebase from 6:20pm on Tuesday so you can drop off any contributions to me.  There is also a box inside the offices of Greendawn Accounting at 1A The Homend (just past the Market House Cafe as you go up Church Street) or you can drop them off at Wyndlands, Homend Crescent.  If none of these options are convenient, then please get in touch and I can make arrangments to collect items.  The delivery will be made to the Food Bank on the 16th December.  In discussion with volunteers, the things that are needed and appreciated are toiletries, washing powder and other home essentials.  Details of other things needed can be found here  http://www.ledburyfoodbank.org/

Our donations have always been gratefully received.  Thank you for your support with this.

Run on 22nd December

As this will be last one before Christmas, it would be good to see as many people as possible in Christmas Fancy Dress and hopefully the Run Leaders will be able to take their groups on a tour of the Christmas Lights of Ledbury.

Fast and Fun

The booking sheet for this is here: Fast and Fun Booking Sheet

and the session is at the top of the sheet. I will endeavour to get a 10 week programme put together to start after the New Year in anticipation of some races taking place in the Spring.

Have a good week.
