Club Kit

We are going to put in an order for club kit.  We have to order a minimum of 3 for each size and style (T-shirt or Vest) that we require.  If you don’t need a new vest/T-shirt now but think you might do in the next 6 months, please put that on the form so that we can make sure that one is available when you need it!

We also have training kit available to be ordered from Your Name On It.

The link to the site is here:-

Training kit   If you want any training kit, please add it to the order form and we can then put in a bulk order which will save on delivery costs.

The order form for kit is here:-

E𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽!)
▪️What’s so great about XC?
Aside from the chance to run some fab courses in different places, it’s a chance to participate in something as part of the Harriers. We meet up before the race starts, have a natter, leave our belongings together, run, cheer each other in then eat cake. It’s a very supportive and fun thing to be a part of.
▪️What is it?
The Herefordshire and Borders Cross Country League are a series of 5 races in 5 different locations, one a month from 30th October. All the races start at a very civilised 11am and are run over a distance between 5 and 6 miles.
▪️What are the courses like?
Each race is different – some are flat, some a little more undulating, and Presteigne is super hilly! They are often multi-terrain, including tracks, woodland paths, grassy fields. If it’s rained a lot, there can be mud, which adds to the fun. All of the courses are suitable for runners no matter what pace group you normally run in.
▪️Isn’t cross country for the faster runners?
No! Absolutely not. Runners of all abilities are welcome, and there will be runners of all paces represented from all the clubs.
▪️What if I can’t run every race?
You don’t have to – if you can only make one race, that’s fine! Better to pop your name on the list so you can run one if you want to.
▪️How do the team points work?
The first 3 men and 3 women over the line at each race for each club is team 1, next three are team 2 etc. Points are awarded to every finisher and at the end of the season get totted up for overall league standings. Don’t get hung up on teams or points. It’s more important that we have runners!
▪️Anything else I need to know?
~You need a club vest or t-shirt to race.
~Only runners who have given their name in advance can enter as names are submitted for race numbers. So if you think you’d like to give a race a try, let Neil Grinnell know.
~You’re welcome to just come along and spectate, cheer everyone on and see what it’s all about.
~There is always cake at the finish. 🍰
If you’ve got any other questions, please just ask!

What races have you done and what have you signed up for?

It would be great for you to tell us when you have taken part in a race and how it went.  We can tell other club members about it and help to promote it next year.  Going to races are always more fun if you know other people there.  So if you have signed up to a race, put it on Facebook or let me know so that we tell other people and get more club members at that event.
