Newsletter 28th February 2021

Hi there

Sunshine and positive news – what more could we want!

After the Government’s announcement on Monday evening, we will be able to restart running in small groups again as from the 30th March (providing the government guidance doesn’t change.)  When we have the groups organised etc, I will let you know about the sign-up sheets etc.  The clocks will have changed by then which means we will be able to run along the lanes/ by the river etc which will make a good change from round town!

The England Athletics guidance can be found here:-

https://www.englandathletics.org/athletics-and-running/news/guidance-update-2021/

As soon as we are able to do so, we will get back to our full club meetings.  Keep an eye on the newsletters and website for more information.

Dates for your Diary

25th April – Magnificent Eastor Castle 7 – to be confirmed along with full details.

5th June – Return to parkrun!!

7th April – Hereford Couriers 5K summer series https://herefordcouriers.com/club-races/5k-series-2021/

21st November – Newent Nine

It’s good to start getting race details in the newsletter again.  Obviously, these all have the caveat that things might change because of Government guidance.

I will have a look and see what other events are taking place locally and get these out in the next newsletter.  If you know of any, please let me know.
